There is a large parking area on HUNNEBERG, located just 200m away from a stunning viewpoint that offers a beautiful panoramic view of the surroundings. Please note that the parking area does not have any amenities such as toilets, garbage bins, or water. However, it is a quiet and peaceful spot during the night. The road leading up to the viewpoint is quite steep. Additionally, there is a barbecue area and some seating available at the viewpoint, situated 200m to the north.
Enjoy a beautiful lake view just 200m from the parking area. While some visitors come to see the lake in the evening, most leave. It was very quiet with only two cars staying overnight. The museum of the reserve, located 3-4km further, is worth visiting. There is also a water station near the museum, accessible by walking from the parking area.
The location is as described, without trash cans, but it is very quiet with an amazing view. There were other tourists in the evening, but we were alone at night. Unfortunately, we didn't see any elks.
