There is a small parking lot by the beach on Edersee, including a spacious playground. It is recommended to visit during the off-season as it can get crowded in the summer. The parking lot has two clean restrooms available and is usually very peaceful.
The journey with large companions can be quite exciting. The roads are narrow and in poor condition. Arriving in the evening during the season and spending a night is not a problem. However, it is not suitable for a longer stay. There is a beautiful forest surrounding the area.
