Enjoy a comfortable camping experience at the Kralja Matjaza Park. The campsite provides amenities such as tables and barbecues, and is conveniently situated at the beginning of various hiking trails with easy access. Don't miss the opportunity to hike up Mount Urslja Gora for breathtaking views of the region. During our stay, we collected delicious coulemelles mushrooms and enjoyed a peaceful night without any disturbances. The local hikers were friendly and the atmosphere was serene.
The spot is peaceful and pleasant, but it is located in the middle of a complex network of forest trails. A minimum of 5 kilometers of narrow, steep, and challenging paths with sharp turns and difficult crossings near ravines are required to reach it. It can be quite stressful to get there, making it perfect for 4x4 vehicles, but not recommended for large front-wheel drive motorhomes and less adventurous drivers.
Caution: Attempted to reach destination during snowy conditions in February but was unable to due to deep snow. Even with a four wheel drive camper van, it was too risky. It is advisable to visit this location in warmer weather, although staying here is still an option.
