Located at the source of the Apenteich, underneath the Winzenburg ruins, is a delightful spot for camping with enough room for 4-5 mobile homes. You can also find a shelter equipped with a grill. For drinking water, there is a spring nearby at the Apenteich. Kindly remember to leave the area clean.
We found a spacious cabin with plenty of seating and a large covered grill area, along with additional uncovered seating. The highlight was the nearby Apenteichquelle, a spring with high-quality drinking water, making it ideal for campers. Overnight options are available with the nearest residential houses approximately 100m away from the cabin.
