There is a driveway near Lago Gallo that leads directly to the reservoir. The village is approximately 500 meters away. It is not advisable to use a vehicle with low ground clearance or a 4x2 drivetrain on this road.
The location offered a pleasant view, and although we had a classic van without 4x4 capabilities, we found a spot on the grass near the road. Conveniently, there was a water tap only 30 meters away. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised by the strong internet signal, which reached speeds of 150 Mbps.
I spent one night camping in a lower area surrounded by trees. There were a few groups of Italians who were also camping in tents nearby. I had no trouble driving my front wheel drive van to the lower area. I chose not to swim in the lake because the water seemed a bit muddy and there was occasional rubbish floating around, which wasn't pleasant. While there was some rubbish scattered around, it wasn't excessive. I did experience some disturbance during the night due to barking dogs from nearby.
