The campsite is small, easy to navigate, and beautifully maintained.
The location is as described, with easy and free choice of parking spots. The owner was initially a bit reserved but ultimately friendly. However, the prices listed on the website were not accurate; I paid €9.20 for the parking spot itself, plus an additional charge for my dog, electricity, and an environmental fee, bringing the total to a hefty €21.30 for one night. Considering the simplicity of the location, it was too expensive for me.
We stumbled upon this place spontaneously and were not disappointed. The campsite is clean, family-friendly, well-maintained, and situated in a peaceful location. Showers require tokens (€0.80/5 minutes). The Werra river runs behind the campsite and the numerous trees create a pleasant climate. There is a playground for children and a soccer field right next to it. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.
