Lido del Sol is a peaceful spot nestled between a lagoon and the sea. From here, you can enjoy the sight of ferries crossing in the distance and the guiding light of the lighthouse. Occasionally, a few planes may pass by without causing much disturbance.
Dirty place. I haven't seen anywhere on the island that's as disgusting, with all sorts of rubbish: tin cans, plastic bottles, used condoms, broken glass. It's a shame because the beach is next to a nice residential area. Anyway, we got back into the van immediately.
The forestry department patrols frequently, so it's important not to camp or light fires, especially during the summer. You could receive hefty fines for violations.
