Huuhanranta is a recreational area located by Saimaa, featuring a beautiful 1.5 km long sandy beach. You can find the entrance to the beach at Kietäväläntie 257, marked by a sprayed yellow text saying "Huuhaa" on the asphalt. Please be cautious when driving as the road leading to the beach is sandy and can be soft. Facilities include a firepit and a dry toilet, but no trashcans are available.

This spot is a peaceful and secluded location. There are not many spots available, but we chose to stay close to the shelter with a fireplace instead of going further as suggested. The toilets are clean and relatively new, and there is a shelter building with a fireplace. The beach offers multiple fireplaces and benches, with stunning views of the Saimaa archipelago. The road to the spot is approximately 1.5 km from the main road and is a bit rough, but we managed to pass through with a van by driving slowly.

Enjoy a tranquil camping experience here. However, it is disappointing to see some visitors not adhering to proper etiquette. Please refrain from using the forest as a restroom and ensure that all waste, including toilet paper, is disposed of in the provided compost toilets. Remember, there is no trash can, so kindly take all your garbage with you when leaving.
