This small campsite primarily caters to long-term campers, with limited space for short-term campers (around 5-8 mobiles). The campsite is located on a flat lawn, without specific parcels for each camper. The ground consists of a layer of gravel, making it challenging to secure herring stakes. The owner is friendly and talkative but holds unconventional views. The sanitary facilities are basic but clean, with amenities such as a chemical toilet disposal and a washing machine. The campsite offers a picturesque view of an old mill and its hydroelectric power system powered by Mühlenbach. The surrounding area is mostly natural, with a nearby pond where dogs can swim. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi is not available, but good 4G/LTE reception is accessible with Vodafone and T-Mobile networks.
We prefer a smaller, cozier, rustic and more intimate atmosphere, which is why we feel quite comfortable here. We did not use the sanitary facilities except for disposing of the chemical toilet, so we can't comment much on that. However, due to the lack of Wi-Fi, the somewhat intrusive owner, and the poorly maintained outdoor areas and buildings, we cannot give a better rating.
