There is a lovely picnic area called Nedge Lane Picnic Area that is owned and operated by the Council. It is surrounded by nature and has many paths to explore. Unfortunately, the approach lane is sometimes spoiled by illegal dumping of waste. However, the picnic area itself has hardstanding and can accommodate around 15 cars, including larger vehicles or motorhomes. There are several bins available for proper disposal of waste. There are no obvious restrictions or height limitations, and the lane is single-track but easily navigable for longer vehicles. Phone signal is good in the area. I have visited for a walk on a Sunday morning but have not yet stayed overnight.
The location is pleasant and has a few dog walkers. The lane might be a bit difficult for large vehicles to navigate. However, there are no restrictions and the carpark is clean, offering plenty of space to park. The locals appeared to be happy to see visitors. Overall, it is a place worth revisiting.
