Trains running during the day can make the environment bustling and full of activity.
There is a beautiful car park located near a nature trail. On one side, there is a serene lake, and on the other side, you can embark on a delightful trek into Leek. Additionally, there is a charming steam railway nearby that houses a cafe and toilets. Before 11am, the area is peaceful, with the only frequent visitors being dog walkers.

This public picnic area offers parking facilities. It has one picnic table and is located near a volunteer-run small gauge steam railway. The railway has a kiosk, but no cafe, and also provides outdoor seating. The area is known for its lack of restrictions and the absence of disruptive individuals. It is a delightful spot and I look forward to returning to explore and share my experiences.
