The staff and landlord are friendly, and the food is good and reasonably priced. There is also a large car park available. One advantage of going to the pub instead of parking in the adjacent layby is that it feels cozy with a log fire. This way, you can enjoy having more than one pint without worrying about parking on the road.

The place has reopened! It offers a welcoming environment and affordable drinks, like a Guinness priced at £4.80 in August 2023. The food hasn't been tried yet, but an update will be provided later. You can also stay overnight by purchasing a drink or food. The location is beside a canal with many boat enthusiasts.
