The site is open throughout the year and is known for its friendliness. Although it mentions March to October, it remains accessible beyond those months.
Uppertown Farm is a picturesque location with fields overlooking Carsington Water. The terrain varies from sloping to flat, providing a diverse landscape. While there might be some noise from the road during the day, the area is peaceful at night. Close by, there is a pub and a reservoir offering shops, a café, and a visitor center. It's important to note that there are no shower or toilet facilities, bins, or electricity on site, so visitors must be self-sufficient. As of August 2020, pitches are now marked and numbered with approximately 7 meters of distance between them. The cost for a night's stay is £10.

I stayed at a hotel last night that offered a pleasant and affordable stay for only £10 per night. The room had a decent view of Carsington Water. Although the hotel is on a slight incline, it can easily be leveled with ramps. Surprisingly, the noise from the road was not as bothersome as I had anticipated. I would definitely consider staying here again.
