On a Thursday afternoon, all 6 parking spaces are unfortunately taken. Luckily, there is a large parking lot across the street with plenty of available spaces. Although it doesn't offer a view of the canal and doesn't have electricity, it is still a good option for overnight parking.
It is a beautiful place indeed, but why make things so complicated? You have to cross the street, find the payment terminal, realize that it doesn't give out tickets, and then go back to manually lift the barrier. For emptying, everyone empties into one of the two toilets provided, instead of having to get a code, same for getting water.
