The Swiss border crossing is a 10-minute walk, making it a great choice for groups. Breakfast service is available upon request, and parking is available free of charge outside the property.
The operator of the facility is very friendly. There are 3 gravel parking spaces available, but the awning cannot be secured. There is a constant flow of air traffic nearby, with planes passing every 10 minutes. One of the long-term residents parked their car too close to a guest's breakfast table, causing a disturbance. The incident was handled poorly, especially considering that the resident is a Swiss national and a guest in Germany.
This is a small campsite with mostly long-term campers. The fact that most campers are staying long-term doesn't bother me personally. The campsite is located by the Rhein River and has multiple entry points for swimming. The reception is at the public swimming pool. The pitches for motorhomes are quite small, with only 7 available. There is some noise from nearby flights, as mentioned before.
