There are 9 cozy camping spots surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in Val d'Elsa. The pitches are located under shady oak trees and offer a unique and simple experience. They can be easily accessed from the road that passes through Pievescola, even with larger campers. Alternatively, they can be reached from the charming village of Collalto, although the road there is slightly narrower. Separate toilet and shower facilities are available for the 9 pitches, along with accessible sinks. Guests also have the opportunity to book a wine tasting and purchase Chianti DOCG wine and organic oil produced on-site.

Attention: Important Information Regarding Access! Please make sure to pass through Collato. We made the mistake of using our navigation app, even though we specifically programmed it to avoid unpaved roads. As a result, we ended up on a 5 km narrow, steep, and damaged road. Even with my extensive experience driving a 4x4 vehicle, it was extremely risky with a 6.36m van. It would have been helpful to receive this information beforehand. Furthermore, we were unable to find any showers or toilets, which was quite disappointing.

The place to stay is great, with full power at each spot. The toilets and showers are clean, but could use a few more during busy times. The spot for two nights was perfect, and Elena's wine tasting was fantastic. Just remember to bring mosquito spray and citronella candles, as there are a lot of mosquitoes in the forest.
