There is a paid parking space available on the outskirts of Spechtshausen for up to 5 mobile homes. The parking space is located at the forest's edge and has a snack bar with a lovely playground nearby. It offers a flat and partially shaded area with paved and gravel ground. Public transport is easily accessible, and there are designated bicycle and hiking trails in the vicinity. The price is 15.00 euros per night, and payment can be made at the parking ticket machine. Amenities include electricity, water, and disposal of gray water, and dogs are allowed at no additional cost. Please note that the parking space is not available during winter.
Everything as described available. Great little snack bar right on the parking lot. Attention! Only 3 parking spaces available, no caravans allowed. The machine only accepts coins, the camper ticket is valid for one night, and not only until midnight as claimed here.
A nice location next to the forest with opportunities for hiking and cycling. However, the parking lot was completely blocked by cars, making it impossible to use any of the five available spaces. Additionally, there was a notice at the parking meter stating that the parking ticket is only valid until midnight and needs to be renewed daily, making an overnight stay expensive at 30€. Consequently, we decided to continue our journey.
