The area is very quiet, with no car noise and some distant cow bells and an owl at night. There were no visitors in the evening, and only a few hikers in the morning. There are some flies and mosquitoes, but not too many.

Pull over to the left side of the road, surrounded by nature. At night, you can hear owls, and the views from the van are amazing.
