Zlate Piesky Camping accepts cash payments only, credit cards are not accepted. The campsite is located just 8 km away from the historic center of Bratislava. To reach the center, you can take TRAM n. 4 which takes about 20 minutes. The tram stop is just a 2-minute walk from the campsite. The campsite also offers access to a small lake with an artificial beach. In the lake area, you will find various amenities such as children's games, bars, restaurants, and a wakeboard ski lift. Although it can get noisy at times, the noise stays within acceptable limits. The sanitary facilities are clean and located in older buildings. Please note that there is no WiFi available at the campsite except for the reception area. If you need to cook, there is a kitchen equipped with 2 gas rings and a 4-plate oven. Additionally, there is a shopping center nearby which is just a 10-minute walk away.
We stayed one night at this affordable camping site. The facilities were decent and there was a bus station nearby for easy access to the city center. There is also a lake in the vicinity where you can swim or enjoy various water activities.
The old town is easily accessible by public transport. The food at the campsite is of good quality and affordable. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is some noise from the disco on the other side of the lake in the evenings, but it is not too loud. The disco area is worth a visit. It is a relaxing place with various sports activities available, such as stand up paddleboarding, and there are many locals and families.
