The car park has a designated area for motorhomes, buses, and trucks. Facilities including water, electricity, toilets, and hot showers are available. The area is secure, and visitors receive a warm welcome. A bus to the center of Catania is available at 8:30 AM, but please note that the travel time may be longer.
If you feel like you're entering a scrapyard, it's even worse as it's a very dirty and unsettling dump. If you arrive in the morning, park your car in this parking lot, visit the historic center using the infrequent bus service, and leave. There is a beautiful area 20 km away, in the countryside called "Mons Gibel" near Nicolosi...a little paradise.
This parking facility may not offer the most attractive features such as noise from buses, trucks, and barking dogs throughout the night. However, it is worth considering due to its available services. Keep in mind that the initial price may be announced as €15, but with some negotiation, I was able to pay only €10.
