The mobile home parking space is conveniently located at Seezentrum Heuberg, just 100 m away from the Großer Rothsee bathing beach. Nearby, you'll also find a children's playground, an environmental education facility, and sanitary facilities. Please note that shower facilities are available only at the beach and have cold water. Reservations or bookings are not accepted. The parking space is open from April 1st to October 31st.
We arrived on Saturday afternoon and had difficulty finding a spot. Unfortunately, there were no more electrical hookups available. Despite being crowded, it was still peaceful. The lake was just a few steps away. There are waste disposal facilities and payment is made through a parking machine. We would definitely come back!
Some people could use some practice when it comes to parking in a space-saving manner, as this can render several parking spots unusable. However, the facility itself is excellent. We gave up the last spot with electricity to someone else and parked on the adjacent field, where 20 other motorhomes were already parked and properly organized. The price of 4 euros for 12 hours is unbeatable, and we were able to sleep peacefully.
