We left our camper van parked all day in a very calm area and took the river route to visit Santander. There is a small beach nearby with shallow water, perfect for children.

Pedreña is a charming village with picturesque streets and stunning views of Santander. It is conveniently located near bike paths and public transportation options. The village is also close to small, peaceful beaches with smooth yellow sand, as well as a dock where you can catch a boat to Santander.

Located along a sidewalk facing the sea and Santander, we stayed here for 2 nights because we took the ferry from the port of Pedrena, which is a 5-minute walk away. It's a peaceful area and also convenient for renting affordable public bikes in Santander to avoid parking hassles in the city.
