The parking lot at "Neue Mühle" Restaurant is currently closed for demolition or renovation. It is a good place for overnight parking, with some joggers and walkers coming in the morning and evening. Located next to the Dalke river, it offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere at night.
There is a beautiful spot with a flowing stream (the Dalke). It is approximately a 3.5km walk to Gütersloh City. Please be aware that on Tuesday evenings at 6pm, this is the meeting point for the Nordic Walking group. At one point, there were 20 cars around me, but everyone was very friendly. By 8pm, I was alone again.
Great place to stay for one night. Beautiful walk to enjoy in the surroundings. We didn't face any issues, although the restaurant was still closed.
