There is a new campsite near Thessaloniki with spacious pitches that have water and electricity. Although the showers and sewage are not yet finished, the campsite is currently free. The owner, Christos, also operates a cantina on-site where you can enjoy affordable meals. A bakery and a supermarket are located just 100m away, and Thessaloniki can be easily visited from here. The campsite is conveniently located 3.9km from the Halkidiki-Thessaloniki highway and only 7 minutes away from Thessaloniki Airport by car. Public transportation is also available with a bus stop right in front of the campsite. Pets are welcome and can even be taken care of by Christos. The beach in Pereira is 13km away, and the pilgrimage site and church of Paisios are just 1km away. Finding the campsite is simple, and there are a total of 13 pitches, 7 of which can accommodate large campers and 6 suitable for small campers.
The place is currently undergoing construction. As of today, the warm showers are functioning well. Christos, who is a talented craftsman, kind philosopher, artist, and a hospitable host, has been meticulous in his work. He has also been incredibly helpful, even connecting us with a mechanic. The team at the dining area is also very dedicated. We had a wonderful time here. Thank you for everything, Christos.
The construction of the site will be completed within a month, however, the owner generously allows guests to stay in the meantime. He is a helpful individual who assisted us with all our needs. Additionally, he owns a restaurant just 30 meters away from the camping area, where you can enjoy delicious and affordable food. I highly recommend visiting.
