There is a small village with just one street, where a few houses and a church can be found. The Gutshof zum See is the last house on the right side, where various animals like alpacas, ponies, and mini pigs eagerly await visitors. The animals are safely enclosed, partially using electric fences. Some natural sounds, such as the bleating of sheep, crowing roosters, and barking dogs on a farm, may be heard. However, it is possible to find a spot where these sounds are minimally disruptive for up to 10 hours. In case the hostess is absent, she can always be reached by cellphone, and the others on the farm who care for the animals are also readily available to assist.
The owner is very friendly and has experience with Wacken. There are two options for accommodation: close to the animals or on the calm meadow. Highly recommended for passersby or those staying a bit longer. It's also suitable for families with children. I will definitely come back. Best regards, Hannes.
Everything here is perfect! The parking spaces are still being worked on, but who needs a parking space when you can be in the middle of nature. Inken is a wonderful host, you won't want to leave. We are self-sufficient, but we had the option to use electricity and sanitary facilities. The many animals and stunning nature are worth mentioning!
