There is a pizza place located close to the parking area. The parking area is clean, well-organized, and relatively quiet at night. The individual parking spaces are spacious enough.
I tried to inquire about a parking space at Freundlich for 23-27 December 2020, but the operator responded very unfriendly, even hanging up on me without any excuses. It's a decent parking space, but this is the second time I've received an unfriendly reaction. It was a polite request, and if you can't handle customer service, maybe you should find a different job. As a native Mainzer, I love tourists, and we are usually great hosts.
Great parking spot. The operator is very helpful and friendly. We were lucky to get one of the last spots. They went out of their way to check what was possible for us. There is a bus stop right outside the door, and it regularly goes into the city. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center. There is an Edeka and bakery across the street. The bakery for Sundays is about a 15-minute walk away.
