The location is conveniently situated for exploring the surroundings, but because there is also a bar and event space on the premises, it feels more like camping in a busy parking lot. It only becomes quiet at night, and early mornings are noisy. We found it too unsettling and quickly decided to leave.
I have been coming to this campsite for many years. We have always been warmly welcomed. The staff is always dedicated to making our stay as comfortable as possible. The washroom facilities are very clean (by the way, a new sanitation building is being built). The location is perfect for hiking, biking, and fly fishing. They also have a buffet and bar on site. We always enjoy coming back.
