I had a great experience at this location. We were fortunate to have good weather and found a beautiful spot with a sunny view of the water. It was perfect for enjoying wild swimming. Although the campsite was quite crowded in August and there was a public footpath passing through, it didn't cause any noticeable disruptions. The amenities included water, a laundrette, and older but clean toilets and showers.

A camping experience to be aware of. The showers and toilets were old and in need of repair. Unfortunately, the WiFi was not functioning properly. The overall atmosphere of the camping site felt more like a city park rather than a true camping experience. On the bright side, it was a nice long walk to the village of Drammen, which is quite beautiful. If you're interested in visiting Oslo, it's approximately a 40-minute train ride away.

This campground is known for its friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but well-maintained and clean. The price includes one Wi-Fi access, although the connection quality is poor. It's worth mentioning that Color Line customers can enjoy a 10% discount. Public transportation to Oslo can be quite expensive, especially for a family of two adults and a 17-year-old. Taking the VY1 bus (using the VYbuss app) can cost around 60€ per person, one way. However, some visitors have found that driving to Oslo themselves turned out to be a more budget-friendly option.
