Conveniently located car park near the forest, providing easy access to hiking and biking trails. The parking area is covered with gravel and offers a flat surface for parking. It serves as a starting point for both short and long hikes or bike tours.
We spent a night there. The highway noise is quite noticeable, so we definitely recommend using earplugs. Also, the ranger (who happened to pass by) told us the next morning that they often conduct checks there, and the police don't appreciate people staying overnight.
This location is conveniently situated near the motorway and offers a pleasant setting. Although there may be some noise from the motorway, it is not overly bothersome when inside the van for a one-night stay. A beautiful 8-kilometer walk along the Luxembourg/France border is easily accessible from here. During the night, it is peaceful with only a few people walking or cycling. The area also provides a bin and benches. In the afternoon, it offers shade but still receives some sunlight for solar power.
