This is a peaceful location close to the mud volcanoes. The pathway is partly made of concrete, but the final portion may require a vehicle with higher ground clearance. There is also a fishing pond nearby. In the mornings and evenings, a shepherd passes by with a small herd of approximately 100 friendly sheep.
Tip: Input "Muddy Campsite" as your first destination and then the specific pitch. We arrived from the opposite side and had to drive for 15 minutes on a gravel road. The site is beautiful, with waterside pitches available. However, the last 20 meters may be best traveled on foot to avoid any potential obstacles. We picked up two bags of trash, which is why we rate it 4 stars.
We stayed for two days, enjoying the peacefulness and the sounds of nature. However, due to recent heavy rain, we had to stay on the gravel area near the pond.
