There is a parking area available for hikers on the viaduct hiking trail. From here, you can choose to walk the entire circular route of about 30 km or just explore certain sections. Additionally, there are other hiking and biking trails nearby. Please note that this parking lot does not provide any facilities or trash disposal. It can get busy on weekends. In the town of Altenbeken, which is a bit of a walk from the parking lot, you can find a gas station, supermarkets, bakeries, and a train station. The parking area is easily accessible for motorhomes and bicycles. It can accommodate motorhomes up to 6.50 meters in length. There is a sign indicating the beginning of a nature reserve, but it's unclear if it applies to the parking lot or just beyond it. Both the Petit and Grand Viaduc are easily reachable from here.
