Located in a forest near Lake Siljan, please exercise caution when traversing the road during winter. Due to the softness of the road, sinking a few centimeters is a possibility.
We chose this location because all the others around the lake were full. It was fine for one night, we didn't see anyone from 9 PM to 11 AM. There was space for only one camper van, but the location was easily accessible in the summer, even for a 7 meter-long vehicle. The lake was just 100 meters away and had plenty of boat shelters. It was very peaceful with no noise.
It was a very calm place with only a few cars passing by, making for a quiet night. Yesterday, out of politeness, we asked the owner of the nearest cottage for permission to stay. Thankfully, she was happy with us being there. She said, "Enjoy, this is Sweden."
