Exercise caution during rainy weather. There is a path near a chapel surrounded by pine trees, accessible from Ouranopoli, offering nice sea views. It's a good spot to wait for the boat that tours Mount Athos, but the path isn't suitable for large motorhomes.
The location is nice, despite a bumpy road leading to it. Accessed with an old van, it offers a beautiful view, spacious flat land, a trash bin, and a working water faucet. However, there can be unpleasant smells from a nearby wastewater treatment plant.
There is a beautiful camping site less than 2 kilometers away in Greece. Visitors should be sure to respect the local population while enjoying their stay.
