Good for one night. There is a main road nearby where cars pass by at around 100km/h. It's not very quiet, but the dog is very friendly.
There is a secluded location along the riverbank where we discovered an alternative camping spot. Situated under leafless plane trees, this area is particularly enjoyable during the summer season. Adjacent to it stands a slightly weathered tavern, where my husband managed to purchase a beer. Despite the language barrier with the elderly man who spoke only Greek, he communicated through gestures and kindly inquired if we could spend the night on the square. It is possible that they also have access to water. Since the road nearby is not heavily trafficked, we were able to have a peaceful night's sleep. A footpath conveniently leads to the river, and we were pleasantly greeted and watched over by a friendly dog, though caution is advised as it tends to jump up.
