There is a beautiful and peaceful spot in the forest with a fire pit. The shooting range nearby is currently closed. If you follow the hiking trail, you will enjoy stunning views of the fjords and a magnificent sunset.

There is a convenient parking spot available at the end of a gravel road, located behind a shooting range. During our visit, there was no shooting activity happening. This parking area serves as a starting point for a brief hike to Barkåsen. If you enjoy fishing, you can try catching mackerel or pollack in nearby areas, such as the Jelsa port. Let's remember to keep the place clean!
