Great location and friendly people, highly recommendable.
Frießnitz is a village located in the Thuringian Vogtland region, right at the Hermsdorfer Kreuz where the A4 and A9 highways intersect. There is a convenient parking space near a small pond, but note that it is not suitable for swimming. The area is home to various animals such as cows, chickens, ducks, geese, and rabbits, which roam freely. If you're interested, you can purchase fresh eggs, meat, and authentic Thuringian sausages from me. Additionally, I offer the opportunity to grill these sausages on-site, but kindly inform me in advance if you would like to avail this service. For a unique experience, you may also have the chance to feed geese, ducks, chickens, and cows, depending on availability. Within the village, there is a bakery where you can enjoy homemade bread and rolls, and they also provide a bread delivery service daily. Furthermore, there is a restaurant serving delicious local Thuringian cuisine, as well as an ice cream shop. For those interested in exploring the area, there are several attractions worth visiting, such as Osterburg, Zeulenroda, the dam, and Frießnitzer See, where you can take a bird-watching tour. All of these places are easily accessible by cycling, as there are dedicated bike paths. I would be delighted to welcome you to Frießnitz.

We went there spontaneously with a roof tent and two dogs and stayed for one night. It was very nice, with a warm welcome and great animals right by the campsite. It's pure nature on the outskirts of town.
