The off-road mini car park has a solid surface and offers nice views, but these views may be obscured during misty weather.
The location is peaceful and offers stunning views of the stars at night. There are no amenities, and some repair work on peat bogs is ongoing, paused during bird nesting season until July. After July, expect possible activity during the day. There is limited 4G service available.
The location is excellent for birdwatching. Four short-eared owls were seen during the visit. The area has flat terrain and it was quiet, with no vehicles passing after 8 PM in August.
