Leerdam offers a lovely camping spot located conveniently in the city center, close to the harbor.
The parking fee is 8.5€ for a 24-hour period when using the app. Although there are no facilities available, the parking area does have a paved surface. In the past, it used to be undeveloped and free, but now it is quite expensive. Nonetheless, it is a nice place to visit Leerdam.
There are several camping spots available at a marina. Just call to inquire about the availability. The marina has friendly caretakers and a club building with clean restrooms. The showers have fixed settings and are a bit too long (costing 1€). There is also a bar with affordable beer and snacks. The marina is conveniently located near a town with shops and restaurants. We paid 20€, including electricity. There are also three decent spots just outside the gate, no facilities but free to use for up to three nights.
