By the lake, it is very noisy during the day but quieter at night. We parked 200 meters away to stay further from the road. There is a chance to go down to the lakeside.

There is a layby on the southern side of Loch Ness, close to the main road. It has some traffic noise at night but is not very busy. There's a bin for litter, good TV reception, and space for 3 or 4 motorhomes, making it great for fishing.

We found a great stop with access to the lake. We enjoyed swimming there before continuing our trip. However, this location may not be ideal for staying overnight due to heavy traffic.
