A well-maintained rest area with ample seating, fire pits, trash bins, clean restrooms, and an outdoor washing station. There is the option for shade and it is located in a peaceful area. It is a starting point for enjoyable hikes with a chance to rest afterwards. The parking area, although small, quickly gets crowded with visitors on Friday afternoons. Not recommended for overnight stays on weekends.
