Parking is available at the start of the Boquerón route, next to the campsite fence. The area is surrounded by mountains and offers a calm atmosphere with minimal light pollution, providing a clear view of the sky.
There is a parking area at the start of the Boquerón route. The beginning is flat, but the rest is sloped. It's near a campsite and outside the national park. Another nearby option is the recreational area in the village of La Presa, or the closer Acebo area.
The camping area was peaceful. We saw many people hiking on Saturday. We ordered takeaway meals from the campsite restaurant, which were affordable and good quality. There are trash bins at the camping entrance. The bar serves Estrella de Galicia beer.
