The view of the lake was beautiful, but not every spot has it. The roadside restaurant is recommended. However, the toilets are old and not clean, typical in some places in France. We stayed for three nights and heard loud music every evening.
Nikel offers camping spots for vans and campervans at €5 per 24 hours. There is free water refilling and waste disposal. Laundry costs €6, and drying is €4 for an 8kg machine. The owner is friendly, making it a recommended location.
