Camping is available on a spacious meadow. There is a commercial building that provides toilets, showers, and a lounge area for visitors.
The location is beautiful, with a nice area that has a restaurant, cafés, and a grocery store. We stayed for three nights, and the third night was free. Shower cost 400 ISK, and electricity was 1000 ISK. There is also a common room and kitchen, but we didn't need them.
A small campsite is located in an Icelandic village, near a puffin observation site. The campsite was closed, but overnight stays were possible through online payment. The facilities were clean, and the sink had cold water; the showers were not tested.
