The location of the place is behind the Sportalm restaurant. Guests can register at the counter. A voucher can be obtained for use at the restaurant, except on Wednesdays when the voucher cannot be redeemed. Unfortunately, there are no discounts available. The food is satisfying and acceptable, and the place has a gravel ground. It offers a wonderful view of the mountains and is peaceful. A good bakery can be found in a nearby grocery store, just a short walk downhill into town.
There is a convenient rest stop at Alpe di Siusi for €10 parking. If you dine at their pizzeria, they will refund the parking fee! Please note that there are no water or electricity facilities available, only a parking spot. A nearby supermarket (Coop) is available for shopping.
The staff were very friendly. The camping area was full, but they allowed us and other campers who arrived later to stay overnight in the car park. We decided to have dinner there too, and enjoyed delicious pizzas at a great price.
