There is a peaceful chapel located in a secluded area, surrounded by open land and cows. To reach it, there is a well-maintained dirt road with cattle grids. While there are no regular services, it offers a serene atmosphere and stunning sunsets. It is primarily utilized by the local community for gatherings on Sundays and during festivals.
Quiet and spacious place to sleep, surrounded by oak trees. Beautiful chapel. Feel free to take the dirt road and pass through different entrances/gates to reach the spot. No problem for large campervans, as we have a 640 model. PS: Be careful where you park, as there are many ant hills.
A conversation with a local farmer revealed his memories of attending school in the building next to the church, getting married here, and enjoying celebrations with bulls and horses in the arena in front of the church. He also advised us to sleep on the right side of the building to avoid the wind and witness the sunrise. (Masses still take place on Sundays at 1:30 PM.)
