We had a peaceful night during our journey from Georgia to Kazakhstan. We found a suitable spot surrounded by bushes, but there are numerous spots in the area. Many points along the main road provide access to this spot. In the morning, we noticed 4-5 friendly fishermen on the southern side of the river, where we didn't sleep. The location is close to the main road, yet secluded enough to avoid being seen by passing drivers. Be aware of mosquitoes, although there may be fewer away from the river.
