There is a olive farm near the Roman ruins of Volubilis. We met the owners, Abdul and his wife, who welcomed us warmly. We purchased some high-quality olive oil from them and in return, we were allowed to stay overnight. The family is happy to have more travelers visiting on the way to Meknes. They are very friendly and accommodating. The farm has space for approximately 10 motorhomes.

Scam Upon arrival, you are welcomed into their home and offered tea, olives, and pastries. After it gets dark and you have settled in your van, they persistently pressure you to buy their products at three times the price in Morocco. They know that at that hour, you are unlikely to leave. We spent €15 on 1 liter of oil, a small jar of olives, and were grateful for the free parking. In the morning, children came to ask for candy.
