Camping

The facilities at the hotel are outdated but functional. Although the hotel may not be visually appealing, you eventually become accustomed to it. The location is exceptional, with a long and sturdy beach that is perfect for cycling, spanning a distance of 10 km. The reception staff make an effort to communicate despite their limited English skills. However, the hotel is situated near a noisy road. On the bright side, it is conveniently located close to the charming town center. Additionally, the rest of the campsite is beautiful, featuring lush grass and trees.

The campsite we stayed at for two nights had all the amenities they promised, such as electricity, albeit with slightly dirty showers and toilets. The water, however, was not suitable for drinking. On a positive note, the camp had a lovely beach and ample space for parking campers, trailers, or tents. It is worth mentioning that there was an abandoned hotel nearby, but this did not greatly affect our decision to choose this camp as we did not plan to spend much time there. Despite its age, the campsite was reasonably clean and had a charming retro style.

This place is quite charming, with a touch of "LostPlaces" vibes due to the old hotel. It's definitely an interesting area so close to Riga, and it has the added perk of being incredibly close to the beach.
