This park offers a scenic view of Barnard Castle and the surrounding area. It is located away from any amenities, but it is very peaceful and does not require leveling blocks.
This location offers beautiful views and a peaceful environment. During the day, a few cars pass by, but the area remains undisturbed from 7pm onwards. The road is very quiet, with only one car heard throughout the night. There are plenty of sheep, cows, and birds to observe. The surface is level and sturdy, eliminating the need for blocks. However, it is advisable to avoid this area during stormy weather.
The ground is solid, but it's best to avoid the grassy area as it's very wet. It's peaceful here and you'll have good TV and phone reception. Just be cautious of sheep that may wander into the parking area. It's a convenient spot for an overnight stop, although there are limited facilities available, with only one small bin provided.
