The Adventure Pit at Hoffnungsschacht offers a serene spot in nature for mobile home parking. It sits amidst lush greenery on a grassy meadow, surrounded by trees in a protected area near the Elbe cycle path. Conveniently located between Dresden and Meißen, it is also near Scharfenberg Castle in Klipphausen.
This place comes highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we ended up staying for three days, which is the perfect amount of time to explore Meißen and Dresden. We will definitely be returning. ;-)
The parking area has a slightly disorganized layout with enough space for campers. There is plenty of shade available. However, we find the parking fee to be too high due to additional charges for electricity and water.
